The architectural study and the renovation of the pharmacy store of Stephania and Giannis Tsikandilakis, apart from an extremely functional and aesthetic result, radically changes the classic image that we experienced until today about the drugstores.
The use of unique materials and colors in the equipment of the pharmacy captures an atmosphere of freshness. The metal bases of the wooden shelves, placed on the left and right of the space in black, provide an industrial and modern style. The wood is equally gathered on the floor, where it is discontinued by a strip of ceramic tiles and merges the entrance with the service counter. The petrol color on the walls and the white on the ceiling illuminate the space, balance the rigor of the metal, and highlight the products. Another significant point is the U-shaped wooden beam on which small backlit openings promote special goods.
The black color and the wood dominate both inside and outside the drugstore, where an imposing facade captures the attention of passers-by while allowing an unobstructed view to the interiors.
What we managed to achieve was the construction of a modern and youthful pharmacy, which will suit the young mistress, but at the same time enduring for her co-owner father.
