The study concerns the configuration of a pharmacy of 140 sq.m., with a ground floor and a loft in Piraeus. The challenge in the design of the store was the management of its size, both in height being a two-storey building and on the ground floor plan. The interior layout, the flow of traffic and the key location of the staircase make the loft visible from any point and invite the visitor to explore it.
The management of the ground floor was established on the separation and use of spaces based on product categories, to develop a functional and modern pharmacy, which will serve the needs of employees and customers. Each product group is presented as a thematic unit, resulting in a chief spacious room that offers maximum comfort of movement. The perimeter furniture is enhanced with indirect interior lighting so that the goods are discreetly illuminated. The rustic and direct bench is placed so as to ensure the pharmacist maximum visibility to all points.
