The architectural study for the pharmacy focused on the emergence of a new, strong, and clear identity, which would enhance its prestige and character. We designed an innovative concept for the pharmacy space based on direct cooperation with the customer, combining the familiar atmosphere with optimal ergonomics and functionality.
The most immense difficulty of this study represents the elongated shape of the space in relation to its height, as well as the narrow side of the road. On the outside, the green cross is formed imaginatively by the word Pharmacy and the glass allows direct communication with customers. The products are presented in sections along the sides of the store. These U-shaped groups are listed peripherally on the ground floor and are visible from the entrance. In this way, comfort is created for both employees and customers to discover the products they are pursuing. Opposite the entrance is the service counter while at the back there is a sealed organized preparatory workshop.
Pressed cement mortar and earthy colors were used on the walls, which in combination with the hidden lighting transmit an attractive modern image and highlight the products. The mezzanine enjoys visual contact with the rest of the pharmacy and can be accessed through the laboratory. Simultaneously, we took advantage of the windows by properly creating shelves for displaying the products at the top of the pharmacy.
The active cooperation with the client ensured a unique aesthetic result. Simultaneously we fashioned a personal space, which represents the wishes and character of the owner and the modern design style of our office.
