The architectural study for the pharmacy of Miss Dandoulaki in the center of Rethymnon aimed at creating a modern, friendly, and fresh space that suits the young owner.
The difficulty in the store was its various internal grades, which we integrated to generate a single level. We designed a pharmacy open and familiar to consumers, with a view from the street. The signage moved in the similar direction, simple and clear gives the position of the pharmacy and establishes its presence sensed in the local market.
Utilizing the shape of the space, we placed the product display shelves around the perimeter and in the center of this the customer service counter. We implemented two types of glass shelves for decoration, the ones that are backlit and those with a creative approach on the rear. In this way the sense of transparency is enhanced, and the products stand out more. The eye-catching item is an original hanging showcase placed on the right side of the glass, that promotes the merchandise without blocking the view from outside the inside of the pharmacy.
The lighting of the space was specially studied. The blue color, combined with the white and grey on the walls, provides a familiar and optimistic environment whiles at the same time emphasizing and promoting the goods. The design was aimed at building a modern and reminiscent pharmacy of a space of body health and wellness than a store of a medical nature.
