The study concerns the renovation of the ground floor of the pharmacy in the village of Vasiliki, Lefkada. The store is housed in a building with exceptional architecture. The design aimed to establish a modern space with a warm and intimate atmosphere that will meet the needs of the owner.
Taking advantage of the continuous walls around the pharmacy, we placed the products in categories, with the service counter located in the center opposite the entrance. Emphasis was placed on the construction details as well as the character of the building, which required specific design interventions in order not to alter its identity.
The significant lighting on the shelves and throughout the pharmacy highlights the products and enhances the familiar atmosphere. The blue color on the walls functions as an indirect symbol of the blue of the sea and, in combination with the wooden elements, composes a backdrop of freshness and well-being. The improvement of the exterior strengthened the extroversion of the pharmacy and developed the store in a pleasant corner of the local market.
The active collaboration with the owner ensured a delightful aesthetic result, producing an extremely personal space, while following the innovative and modern design style of our architectural office.
