OUR PROJECTS CACTUS BAY HOTEL

The renovation of the Cactus Bay hotel unit was a particular challenge both in terms of design and time. The complexity of the existing complex with the plethora of incompatible elements in the facade of the building gave way to a more minimal and functional design. The aesthetic and ergonomic changes were made both in the configuration of the rooms and in the external areas and the swimming pool. A new bar is created, contemporary canopies are added, and the facades of the buildings are redesigned.

On the facades, the columns were removed from the balconies, and the signs and the decorative tiles were replaced with direct volumes and lines. The materials used are stone and plaster and were harmoniously paired with the metal and the wood of the new shelters. In addition, the sheer face of the building was demarcated more clearly compared to the existing one and clear movements were created around the complex.

Particular attention was paid to the design of the surrounding areas and the element of water, with the pool now playing a leading role. The pool has been redesigned and relocated to extend along the rooms, creating distinct rest stops around it. Simultaneously, a new bar is planned with direct visual contact with the swimming area, complemented by semi-covered outdoor spaces.

In terms of interior design, the rooms are redesigned and acquire a minimal style with the choice of earthy colors and textures. We also take advantage of the position of the complex in relation to the water element, creating openings in all the rooms that function as picture frames with a sea theme.

In total, our proposal is outlined by a recognizable and essential language with the primary goal of highlighting the hotel unit in a modern hospitality area of ​​high standards.
