Atmosphere from another era: HUGO a dream place.
A new Restaurant - Bar was completed in the heart of the city of Heraklion.
The design of the new café-bar restaurant Hugo a dream place inspired by the film of the same name combines the past with the present in a nostalgic atmosphere.
In an area of 130 m², the entire space extends, where patrons can live a complete experience from the morning with their morning coffee and lunch to the evening entertainment in the specially designed stage area, where live musical performances are hosted.
The curved lines on the windows, the use of wood, metal and leather in shades of green and gold enhance the feeling of that era.
A central element is the copper bar, which is located near the entrance, specially designed to serve the public inside and outside. Directly opposite the bar, in the background, the wooden "stage" with vintage decorations and influences was placed elevated in relation to the table seats, aiming for the best view from and to all sides of the space, thus making it a point of reference.
The leather seating area with the characteristic green color gives it harmony and in combination with the pieces of black and white marble, which form the floor in the form of a "chessboard", give the feeling of being in another era.
The special wooden grids on the windows in order to place frames and photos from the era that are consistent with the rest of the style of the store.
Finally, furniture, decorative elements, and plants play a complementary role, with simplicity in design, but also with references to different styles.
